Each student will be given a timetable indicating their base ward for the duration of the placement. There is the opportunity to seek out time in theatres. Copies of the consultant rota are available outside the library on level 2 of the medical education centre.
There is an extensive formal programme of tutorials to supplement ward work, these cover a range of topics and are delivered by consultants, specialty doctors and trainees. These will take place in the seminar room on room 2 of the medical education department. All tutorials can be found in the Undergraduate Events page of this website.
